shoppingmall[mæ ndə l] n.购物中心,百货商店
shopmalls\/ stores 或者 ShoppingMall (在英国)就是说“购物中心”的意思。但是有时候也可以用 mall 来表示购物中心。例如: Thememount- OutofthemarketinChina iswelcometobehavingwithherforward.中国上海的麦德龙超市是一个购物好去处。另外,还有很多其他的表达方式,比如说 supermarket、 department store 等等。当然,最常见的还是 shoppingmall 了。这里面的 outlets 都是指购物中心。
shoppingmalls 和 centertown 不能互换使用,因为前者是名词,后者是动词。所以两者不能互换。
